Grout

Grout can be found in nearly any residential, commercial or industrial structure. It’s used to fill the space between two elements, particularly when installing tiles. In addition to connecting tiles, it can also produce a water-tight seal, as well as contribute to the overall finished look.

Over time, grout can get grimey—detracting from the appearance of your tile. Proper care, maintenance and cleaning is critical to maintaining a clean, polished appearance!

Grout Sealing

The best way to keep your grout looking fresh is through sealing. As grout is naturally porous, sealing will essentially fill in any holes where dirt and other contaminants have collected to give a less porous appearance, prevent discoloration and stains, and allow for easier cleaning.

Stone Medic’s team of tile experts recommend penetrating sealers, which are designed to significantly increase stain resistance and extend the life of your tile and grout.

Grout Cleaning & Polishing

Grout is a porous material that collects dirt, grime and spills—often discoloring the surface. Cleaning this surface is hard work, and using regular cleaning or mopping techniques won’t reach the hidden dirt that lies deep within the pores of your grout lines.

Our professional tile and grout cleaning service uses specially formulated cleaners to separate dirt and grime from your tile and grout. Deep extraction cleaning will have limited impacts on stains, but cuts through surface dirt life a knife through butter to restore discolored grout to like-new-looking condition.

Grout Restoration

Are you looking to give your home or business space a fresh look? Grout restoration acts similarly to that of polishing and is an easy way to revitalize your surface area to give a great first impression.
